Pre-operative Assessment Clinic

If you are due to be admitted to hospital for a surgical procedure, you will usually attend a Pre-operative Assessment Clinic. Healthcare staff will assess you to make sure you are fit and well enough to have your operation. At this appointment you will be given detailed written information and have the chance to ask any questions about the operation.
