The Bothwell, Uddingston and Viewpark GP Cluster was formally established in September 2016.
Our Cluster covers 30,000 patients living in Bothwell, Uddingston, Viewpark and Bellshill.
By working together to deliver care across our area population we hope to preserve what is good about traditional general practice, whilst also playing a full role in the transformation and
modernisation of NHS Services for our patients.
Our GP Practice Cluster consists of the following practices
1 Bothwell Medical Centre Bothwell
2 Lincluden Medical Centre Uddingston
3 The Willow Practice Viewpark Uddingston
4 Old Mill Surgery Viewpark Uddingston
Our aim is to improve and develop Primary Care within our locality and we have formed our cluster to ensure patients recieve a better more efficient healthcare. We also want GPs to enjoy a closer way of working and to form a support network in difficult times.
Our role is also to improve care for our patients and to ensure Primary Care is sustainable for our Patients and Staff. We have agreed to work together to develop innovative ways of improving patient access across to medical care across locality area. We aim to provide patients with safer, faster, and better healthcare
Our patients will remain registered with Bothwell Medical Centre will remain to see their GP at Bothwell Medical Centre. Our patients care will still be managed at Bothwell Medical Centre and Patients personal Data will not be shared with any other practice.
